Default Export KML/KMZ will not work in new Google Earth v5.2

I've made some great transparent area overlays in Google Earth using GM, but the newest version of Google Earth 5.2 displays the files completely wrong. The same file works like a charm in 5.0, 5.1, but 5.2 is no good

Has anybody run into this yet?

I doubt that fix has any effect as your 3D areas wouldn't have displayed correctly in any Google Earth version prior to the fix from the other thread.

Do you have a small sample KML file created by Global Mapper that displays correctly in earlier Google Earth versions but not in v5.2 so that I can take a look and see what might be happening? Or even a screenshot would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Mike

just uploaded it to your FTP

usually I have it indexed, but this is just a small portion

I messed with 3D areas on terrain surface and above, but had no success. It seems like in v5.2, the areas are loaded at 5000ft

I just loaded your KML file both in GE 5.1, then upgraded to GE 5.2, and in both the areas draped directly on top of the terrain. What does it look like for you?

    Thanks,
