    Default Display Contours with Shader

    Hi !

I generated contours and I try to display them with shader. I made a scale color elevation with the custom shader dialog box. But now how can I apply this to the countours line ? I pushed the apply button, but nothing append ...

    Thanks for your help !

    Default

An elevation shader (like a custom shader) only applies to gridded elevation layer. Contour lines are just colored by default using the drawing style set for the contour line types on the Line Styles tab of the Configuration dialog.

The only thing that you could do is go to the Line Styles tab of the Options dialog for the contour layer from the Control Center, then setup attribute-based styling based on the feature name and then setup coloring there just like for a custom elevation grid shader. That should allow you to achieve the same styling results for contour lines as for an elevation shader.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
