applying projections

Is there a way to apply your current project projection to all of your layers inside your project? Or to apply a new projection to all your layers in the project at once?

The only other option I see is to go through your layers one by one and apply a new projection to every layer. When you have 30-50 layers, this could be tedious.

Are you trying to correct the projection interpretation of a layer (this is rare) or just reproject your data? If you just want to reproject, just change the projection on the Projection tab of the Configuration dialog to change the view/export projection for all loaded files.
