    Default -180, +180

I have a few maps map that crosses the international date line, and I loaded them into a catalog. The catalog shows the map as wrapping the earth...which is not the case, but what happens when you have -180 and 180 on the same file. Is there a way to get the catalog to display correctly? The file itself loads in two places, both sides of the map, which is correct.
Another related question, for cartographers, is there a way to get the map to split at 0 deg?

In the upcoming v11 release (currently in beta at GIS Software Download - Topographic Mapping Software - Mapping Software With GPS) you can specify the a layer in Geographic (lat/lon) has a non-0 central meridian, which shifts your 360 longitude range to be centered somewhere else. For example a center of 90W causes the longitudes to range from 270W to 90E, allowing things crossing the ATM to not wrap.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
