Default Polyconic Projected Data MaptechOverlay.cpp -1085

When I try to load to global mapper, or modify the format or projection of data that is in the World Polyconic projection, I get an error.

It says:

Error loading MapTech file c:\11516_1.kap
MapTechOverlay.cpp - 1085
Build Time: Jul 16 2008 14:01:22

I tried modifying the Display Settings/Projection options to Polyconic Projection, but that didn't work.

Can you provide me with the .kap and .bsb files for that file so that I can take a look? It is likely a simple fix once I have sample data. You can email the files to support@globalmapper.com.

Thanks,

Mike

It was an easy fix with the files. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper9.zip with the change for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v9.xx installation folder to give it a try.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks,

Mike
