Iphone GPS support?

Is there any possibility, if it's even possible, to be able to use the GPS in the Iphone for real time Location information in Global mapper?

Michael,

If the iPhone can output it's position stream through a port as a NMEA stream and emulate a serial connection, then Global Mapper could use it. I do not think that the iPhone has the capability though.
