Trouble generating contours

I have an elevation file that I am trying to generate contour lines for.

I go to File->Generate Contours, and use the default settings.


then get the following message.

[global_mapper]

What is the range of elevation values that you have loaded? If you are generating contour lines at a 10 meter interval and your data did not cross a 10 meter boundary (say it was all between 1 and 8 meters, then you would get this message as there are no contours to generate. You can try a smaller interval to see if that gets the results tat you want.

Well, I finally got it to work. I dont know what the problem was, but I closed down my workspace, and started new again, and it seems to work now.
