V12.02 output an incorrect prj file even though the jgw file is correct. In Autocad it is not an issue as it read the jgw file but ArcGist read prj file. Previously GM v10.02 give a correct prj file. Below the sample prj file:

V12.02
PROJCS["Hotine_Oblique_Mercator",GEOGCS["GCS_Geographic Coordinate System",DATUM["D_KERTAU_1948_MALAYSIA",SPHEROID["Modified_Everest_1948",6377304.063,300.8017000971212]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0],UNIT["Degree",0.017453292519943295]],PROJECTION["Hotine_Oblique_Mercator_Azimuth_Natural_Origin"],PARAMETER["scale_factor",0.99984],PARAMETER["azimuth",323.0257964666666],PARAMETER["central_meridian",102.25],PARAMETER["latitude_of_origin",4],PARAMETER["false_easting",804671],PARAMETER["false_northing",0],UNIT["Meter",1]]

V10.02
Projection Rectified Skew Orthomorpic (RSO)
Datum KERTAU
Zunits NO
Units METERS

    GP,

It looks like you want the old-style PRJ rather than the newer WKT-style PRJ. Do you perhaps have a very old ArcGIS or something? I don't think Esri products have supported the old-style PRJ in quite a while.

In any case, you can switch to using the old-style PRJ files from Global Mapper by checking the option near the bottom of the Advanced Options on the General tab of the Configuration dialog to 'Export Old Format PRJ Files'. Then you should get something like v10 exports. Of course Global Mapper can read the PRJ in either format, but most software (i.e. anything by Esri) is not that smart and only supports a very limited set of variations on the PRJ format.

    Thanks,

    Mike,
Looks okay. Will test later. By the way the arcgist is 9.3.1.

    Thanks.
