Can't find a way to create vertices at intersections in GM 14 Beta

In GM 13 I can select all the roads in my network and "Insert Vertices and/or Split at intersections of selected features."
I can't find this option in GM 14 Beta.
I can't find this option in GM 14 Beta.

It's under the Search submenu (i.e. "find" intersections), but I'll also add it under the Vertex submenu.
Thanks,

When the "Inset Vertices and/or Split at Intersections" operation is performed consecutively, it continues to find additional intersections and modify additional lines. Usually the number of effected lines is reduced but occasionally it finds an enormous amount of effected lines and sometimes crashes. Can you explain what is happening?

Which version of Global Mapper are you using? I think there used to be a problem like that, but if I remember correctly it has since been fixed.

According to Title Bar V14.1 (b122112). I have some patches you sent me directly.

Can you provide a sample data set that does this so I can take a look?
Thanks,

I took a look at your data and was able to reproduce the issue. Basically some of the lines had multiple duplicate vertices at the beginning and/or end, which was breaking the logic for splitting at intersections. I've got that fixed now and it just inserts new vertices and splits a few lines the first time then that is it. I have placed a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper14.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v14.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v14 version there is a new build at http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper14_64bit.zip .

Thanks again for the fix. I know I have duplicate data in some cases and was wondering if there is a way in GM to find identical features (e.g., line features that have been copied and pasted on top of each other).

There is using a script. You need to use the EDIT_VECTOR command (see http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/knowledgebase/global-mapper/ScriptReference.html#cmd_edit_vector) with the MARK_DUPLICATES=YES or DELETE_DUPLICATES=YES parameters.
Thanks,
Mike
