Need to Plot XYZ ASCII DATA using colored dots (or symbols)
CCOSTAS
Global Mapper User
Would like to plot XYZ data imported from an ASCII file without interconnecting them. Line type = Null didnt work.
Also would like to be able to determine the color for all the data points in a file (e.g. all red)

When you load the file using File->Open Generic ASCII Text File, set the import type to 'Point Only'. This way you only get points. After loading, go to the Point Styles tab of the Options dialog for the layer and setup the styling however you want it.
Thanks,
Mike
