Mike,

i'm worry, i have an another request  (more important than the problem of the projetction)
I have more than 100 layers and i have to assign the attribute data of the layers to a vector grid.
I want to do it in one step.
I tried with the menu "attribute fonctions" and "copy attribute from selected areas to enclosed/overlapping areas".
The problem is the fallowing : when 2 layers are superimposed, only one of the attribute is assigned to the grid.
Could you help me pls ?
Thanks

I found the problem : the tool info of GM show only the first column oft the attribute data. The other columns have been created too.
    Take care

Correction, it doesn't work with multiple layers (i did the test with 3 layers and it worked!). Only one column is assigned in the attribute data. GM did the others colums but data are assigned "0".

Is the problem that some of your areas overlap or are in multiple areas of the grid? I have now updated the assignment of area attributes to other areas so that now if an underlying area is in multiple selected areas, it will get assigned to each area that it is in. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13.zip with the latest changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v13.xx installation folder to give it a try. If you are using the 64-bit v13 version there is a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper13_64bit.zip .

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Thanks, i tried.
I have better results but many object (points and polylines) are not assigned in the grid. The layers are in mapinfo format and a layer could contain points, polylines and areas. What is the best vector format for this kind of process ?

There are separate commands for assigning attributes based on areas, lines, and points to areas. You would have to do them separately to get everything in there.

    Thanks,
