Hi
I want to convert my directory of images from 512 to 256.
folder 0->folder 0000->0000_0000.jpg(512*512 size)
so,I want to convert all the images to 256*256.
Is this task possible using global mapper or any other suggestions.
Regards
Jasmeet

Jasmeet,
You could use a Global Mapper script (see http://www.globalmapper.com/helpv13/ScriptReference.html) to loop over the files with DIR_LOOP_START ... DIR_LOOP_END and for each one do an IMPORT on the original tile, use EXPORT_RASTER to export to a new file at the new pixel size, then UNLOAD_ALL to unload the original layer.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
Thanks for the response.
But my question is can this can be done using GM GUI.
For example I give it (GM) a directry of images of a particular level of size 512 and the directory of images with size of 256x256.
Thanks

Jasmeet,
You could use the File->Batch Convert/Reproject menu command and select the input files, use the Gridding button to specify to split into 256x256 tiles, then spit into a new folder. Each input file should be split into 4 pieces then. If they don't have position information you will probably want to select to fake the position for each one so you just convert the images.
Thanks,
Mike
