Hello

I am importing Photos, Autocad Text and Linework into GM to export geographic PDFs. However when i bring the Autocad txt into GM, the size and locations seem to be changed. Is there a way to have these not be changed? I have attached images to show what i'm talking about.

Which version of GM are you using? The DXF import trains to maintain the text settings from the AutoCAD file, but since the text models aren't the same it isn't always possible to get a perfect match on placement and size in GM as what AutoCAD shows.

    Thanks,

I am using GM 13, the latest build (from yesterday). I am using Autocad Civil 3D, and saving my drawing files as dwg. When i save to dxf i get the same result. Are there text styles/fonts which would produce a closer result? or is that what you meant by "Text Models"?

By text model I mean how AutoCAD represents labels vs. how Global Mapper represents labels. The font itself doesn't really come over at all and this is likely where most of the issues come in. Global Mapper also represent the AutoCAD text height as a fixed height in the ground units of the layer projection, but how that is scaled to a fixed height in ground units is likely different due to Global Mapper having to deal with things like projections and not just a flat Cartesian space.

    Thanks,
