Hi,

Is anyone aware how to generate/enable a time stamp, when a waypoint is collected (Crtl + M) using a GPS device, when integrated with Global Mapper.

My Version: 12.02 (b082511)

Thanks,

Coopy

    Coopy,

There should already be a time stamp attribute added if the GPS device is providing that information. Is it not being added as an attribute of the waypoint already?

    Thanks,

    Mike,

No, When I open up the feature information, for the point there are no time stamp attributes - Is there a setting I need to activate??

I know, Well I think that the GPS is outputting that information ok, as there are tracklogs, recorded from the same GPS which seem to be correct.

    Coopy,

Can you provide a screenshot of what attributes are being added or perhaps save a workspace file and paste that? I'm not seeing any way that a waypoint can be created without a TIMESTAMP attribute being added.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi,

This issue has been solved by upgrading Global Mapper to version 12.02, and installing the latest build.

    Thanks.
