    Terry,

Which cropping feature is the "new" one? You can select an area with the Digitizer Tool, then use File->Export Elevation Data to export to a new grid and crop by selecting the option on the Export Bounds tab to crop to the selected area.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Not an elevation grid but a spacing grid created with designated spacings ie columns and rows would like to be able to crop to a defined area using the area tool then be able to manipulate the major and minor grid lines to save as a different kind of line Thanks Terry

    Terry,

If you create the grid with the regular grid creation option of the Digitizer Tool you could then crop that to any area when exporting to a new vector file or using the clip operations of the Digitizer Tool. The regular grid just creates normal area and line features.

    Thanks,

If you select an area and/or lines there are options on the right-click menu of the Digitizer Tool for cropping. See http://globalmapper.com/helpv13/Help_DigitizerTool.html#add_islands for details.

    Thanks,
