Access violation using 3D view with highest resolution

Hello Mike,

I am using GM v12.1. It was a good idea to build in a 3D view resolution. But if I want to use the highest resolution (8192x8192), there will be the following error, if I choose this setting for the image: "Error setting 3D viewer view info. Write access violation at data adress 0x0000001, program adress 0x752DC3A6". It is then nessessary to reduce resolution; otherwise 3D view will not work.
Can you please help, because I prefer this setting using DEMs and aerial images with a high resolution.

Thanks
Robert (Alpinfuchs)

    Robert,

The maximum resolution that you can use in the 3D viewer really depends on what your 3D OpenGL video driver can handle. It sounds like your video card can't handle that high of a resolution, so you get an error trying to use it, so you will have to stick with the next lower resolution.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
