Hi Mike,
I want to export to do some photoshoping of the map. Then I want to re-import it to GM to export it as a kmz. So, is there an right (easy) way to this without having to reselect multiple ground points? I save the .prj file and load it in the rectify dialog, but it still needs points.
Thanks,
Mitchell

    Mitchell,

The best way to do this is just to export to your desired image format (GeoTIFF, PNG, or JPG) and make sure to check the options to create world files and PRJ files. Then so long as you don't change the size of your image in Photoshop it should load right back into Global Mapper with just the world file and PRJ file.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Thanks Mike,
I know I know this is obvious to all but me, but how do I re-load the .prj and the .pgw in GM along with the raster file?

    Mitchell,

Global Mapper will automatically find those when you load the PNG file. You don't have to do anything special to make them be loaded.
