Exporting to Google Earth

Hi,
Very new to Global Mapper. What I am doing is working with Lowrance GPS Data Capture files to make my own contour maps. I have imported my data into Global Mapper, then exported the file into a Google Earth format (.kml). This worked great.

The issue is that all I want shown on the Google Earth file are the Data Points. What I get are the points and a boxed area that covers over the Google Earth area. Can I get just the data points or at least make the boxed area clear so I can't see it?

I will try to attach the file to show what I am talking about.
Thanks

Did you do the KML export from the File->Export Vector or File->Export Raster or Web Format menu? If you use the File->Export Vector version then you should get a KML file with just your points as selectable vector features and not a filled rectangle of the rendered export.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    It worked.
Is there anyway to change the line width or line color?

If you select the lines with the Digitizer Tool and edit them, you can change their drawing style. Any changes should be carried through when you export to a KML/KMZ file.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
