Importing an .mdb file?

I need to import this file: roads_trails.mdb.zip
from this website: USDA Forest Service, San Juan National Forest - GIS Coverages

The file is of this type:
The following compressed ZIP files contain GeoDataBases (.mdb files) which were created using ESRI's ArcGis 8.3 software.

So far no luck, any suggestions to get Global Mapper to open the file?

Thanks

Global Mapper does not support loading GeoDatabases in the .mdb format (this is the MS Access database format).

    Thanks,

Can anyone open this file and export either all of it as a shapefile or a subset?

The zipped mdb is ~25MB, but I only need a small portion, ~1MB.

    Thanks

Sorry a DL is not possible. The OP has a direct page link, the Road & Trails download link is near the bottom of the page.

I need just the trails subset or if that's too much hassle, just shapefie the entire file.

    I'll PM a email address.

    Thanks

I think I own a copy of MS Access, but I've never loaded it. Just a part of Office 2002.

    Thanks

Tried but failed, the file was too big to email. I got an error. Bummer.

Just a FYI. You can upload files to the download section of this website if the file is less than 2MB (I'm working on increasing that). Just go to downloads and submit file (make sure you are logged in)

Here are two subsets, non_infra_trails and gps_trails_all. Is this all you need?

Thanks to all who tried to help!!!

I now have the shapefile on my NAS and it opens fine in Global Mapper. Instead of just trail vectors, I now have name and number descriptors for each trail.

    Again thanks.

Based on this Table my guess is it would NOT convert the mdb file. But a potentially useful tool none the less.
