How can a custom shader be automatically linked to an overlay in a workspace for all users in a network?

Can the legend range automatically change with shader or overlay?

Answers to the above would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

    Hello tyson.perry,

You can export/import the Custom Shader to a file for sharing Tools > Configuration > Shader Options > Edit... and then Save to Surfer CLR and provide this file to others who need to apply the custom shader to the workspace. The color assignments for ranges should also be included in that file.

If you use scripting to export workspaces for sharing, there is a 'DEFINE_SHADER' command, however this is not currently available in the User Interface for Global Mapper. I have submitted an enhancement request to add an option to 'Include Custom Shader (definition)' to the export dialog in Global Mapper, as well. The ToDo item # is 13615, this thread is linked in the request, either Mike or myself will post here when this option will becomes available in the User Interface.

    Regards,

    Jasmine
